Bless him he never ever complained with that naughty pup hanging off his tail.

They walked together, played on the beach together and even camped together. Recently as his legs failed him he would stuggle on our walks but he kept on going.

A very sad day yesterday when he left us but know that his owners made the very best decision to allow him to always run free in the sunshine.
Alice has taken this very badly she was very very fond of Jake - she hasnt stopped crying since we heard yesterday morning.

Found this photo taken last year while camping. As you can see Jake was a bit hit with the girlies

I know it might be a bit irreverent, but I couldn't help but titter at Jake and his girlies, he sure had a lot of love while he was here hey!

He might be gone, but good memories like that will be here for a long time yet. So sorry for the heartache though, it's never easy is it, in fact, it's way too bloody hard!

Alice is still awake - sobbed for hours and hours - cant really think of anything positive to say to her - she just keeps saying that he was her best friend - my heart breaks for her

Poor Alice, she must be devastated. Wish I could think of something helpful to say.
