I read about Burns Ocean Bites (Dried fish skin treats) on the Many Tearssite not long after we got Jenny. I now give my 2 one each roughly every other day as a treat but it seems to keep their coat in a lovely condition. I really noticed the difference when I ran out and forgot to order anymore for a few weeks, now they are back on them they have nice coats again biggrin.gif PM me your address Sarah, have just placed an order and when thye get here I'll send a bag over for Jack to try..............see what you think biggrin.gif

mine get fish treats, the dry skin ones from Fish 4 dogs, I usually buy them a starter box for Christmas and on their birthdays, that way we've always got plenty in.
They love them and they make great training treats to.

Jack is not the most ameanable dog for grooming

Moll is just the same. Hates her combs and scissors. She usually looks a total scruffbag before I can trim her up. I use cod liver oil capsules gives her a good shine (when I can comb her), forgot the egg trick though used to use it on our old English Springer Robbie. Moll used to have liquid cod liver oil in her food before I had her - now she hates it, but occasionally gets a spoonful when she's constipated. My sister has to do it, she gives moll no option (I am allergic to fish). She has her capsules as a daily routine, started when I first had her because Pollie, my old Lurcher, had to have 22 pills a day and moll got jealous.
