i dont normaly have the sound on but this morning i was wondering what the heck that was while uploading mac's vid soooooo annoying

It had me running about like a loon until I worked out what it was! It is the same sound as one of my alarm systems here at work, so the adrenaline kicked in! D'oh...

I had it while I was watching Mac's video this morning - thought my laptop was going doollally - glad to know it wasn't just me!!!

managed to block that ding one but still get the others

very hard to sneek a look at ST when you are supposed to be doing the irorning with all that dinging

its one of the banner adverts at the top, the one with the parcels on. Just refresh the page ( press F5) and you'll get a different advert.

Bloomin ads like that should be banned!

If you're using Firefox as your browser just download Adblock Plus plug in for it, no more ads ever on any sites

Did anyone get the "rudie" banner ads up at lunchtime?

I was on someone elses PC so not logged in but I got a lot of bare ladies bottoms at lunchtime today!!!!

Incidentally, they disappeared as soon as I logged in and were replaced by that one key piana player again


Edited to add: the smilie was not because the rudies disappeared. .... but because they did so once I was logged in..... does it mean that guests and visitors are getting different "undesirable" banners that we can't see when we are here?

no i was seeing the bare bums and general wobbly bits this afternoon!

Well thats just typical aint it, I downloaded Firefox so i did'nt have to put up with the ads doing my head in an what happens.....
