Seriously, this is the young man.

Chico must be a popular name btw as Robert must feel he has a split personality being involved with 2 in a single weekend!!

Chico is here initially as a foster as you can imagine having 5 entire males (at the mo) may go wrong so slowly slowly and we will see. I am hoping he will not be gunshy either as that is something important to me if he is able to come beating. Once he is settled I have someone ready to check this with me.

He was very unsure when I tried to bring him in the house and at the mo he is ensconced in the kennel outside, he has eaten well and had a stuffed kong. He has met all the guys from the safety of either side of kennel bars and he didn't seem fazed at all. I will be introducing them one by one rather than en masse over the next few days.













Not great pics after I broke my expensive camera last monday and my ickle one has struggled with the light and fast moving spangle but it gives an idea what a lovely lad he is.

He is sporting some pretty impressive matts so will be undergoing a groom and possible trim if he finds it too hard to have them detangled but I will try not to ruin his looks!

There is so many people to thank over this lad, Kelly for first finding out about his abandonment in a kennel and getting the ball rolling to get him a new life, Mary for assessing him for temperament with so few details on him, the kennel for looking after him for so long , the local dog warden, all the kennel staff who fell head over heels for him and making sure he was taken care of and not getting to bored in kennels so they took him to reception, and out for drives in the car and just spent time with him etc etc , Robert for taking over the transport run organisation while I abandoned my ESSW duties , GillyB for undertaking the last minute transport run help despite having lots on her plate at the mo , all the other ESSW helpers that have had small parts to play even if it meant just being on standby for emergency fostering in case Sue's dog's decided they wanted to eat Chico and lastly (I think) Sue for fostering this lad and giving him a new start in life.

It is most definitely Chico (number 2's) time!!!!!
