I take the older dogs out together and the young ones on their own...something to do out of season??? my mate and I have just started this www.gundogs.org.uk It's the nearest thing to an actuall shoot day and open to anyone...you can even work one of our dogs...

I just missed the opportunity of a day with Mike that Liz has organised....I'm hoping we can find another date soon to do another one.....my betting is that there are probably quite a few folk on here like me that would love the opportunity of giving working training a go I'm sure we'll be in touch

Sounds like a great idea Helen I would be definitely interested in a training day, especially if this would mean not having to travel too far .
