Regardless of what it contains I won't touch IAMS because of their ethics (or lack of ph34r.gif ) An internet search will show you most of it.

I find raw feeding brilliant for my three but it's not for everyone. Regarding kibbles I'm sure the others can recommend biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Am proud to say that the petshop I worked in refused to sell IAMS or Bakers laugh.gif

And since I worked there their 'raw' sales had increased biggrin.gif

JWB is a decent company. Also, despite Chappie being thought of as a lower end dog food it's actually very digestible and can benefit some dogs.

Also worth checking the contents of over the counter Hills Science Plan if you've been vet referred. Alot of the stuff in the good quality petshops is the same although some isn't.

Thank you for all ur replies ( am at work just now wink.gif ) so when i go home il chat to OH and we can decide what to do, he has a hawk so thought raw would be a good way for us to go as we have this type of stuff iin outside freezer already, its just quite scarey to change over to raw. I am so glad i posted this and found out the truth about IAMS!! They will not get another penny from me or any1 i know for that matter!!

Thanx

debonair uk, you must have little or no sense of smell like me! I can remember a friend telling me that her vet said that Chappie was one of the best foods for a dog - but the tinned stuff does honk!

I feed raw, and have done since he was about nine or ten weeks. If I was to feed dry, I would probably use Skinners (especially after having met the rep at the Feniton fun day a couple of weeks ago)
