Hi there

My neighbour is seeking a working cocker to join his family. Male or female up to 6/7 months old. He is the secretary of a big shoot local to us, works for just a couple of hours in the moring, same in the evening. They have 2 children (both over 8 I think).

They can offer a fab home and a fab life to a little cocker, you guys have been really helpful in the past - please pm me if you feel anything suitable comes up smile.gif

Hi yes - thanks for that wink.gif

Ideally he is looking for a younger one, and I see this chap is on a home check wink.gif

working cockers come up very rarely in rescues, ive been an avid viewer of quite a few rescue sites for a number of years and he is only the second one ive ever come across. but good luck with the search

I think this boy would be fine with children over 8 I spoke to one of the kennel volunteers the other day about him as her best friend is looking to home a springer from us...I know he's a sprocker but may be a possibility unsure.gif

Kelly if they are interested in a dog from NESSR they would need to fill in one of our applications forms and have the checks etc done. Best if they speak direct to Cynthia or one of the other rehoming co-ordinators.

Paddy is indeed already on homecheck and is going to a working home. I have a contact somewhere for a lady who rescues working cockers will dig it out.

Thanks Rhy wink.gif

Didn't give him NESSR's details as the boy was on home check and I thought the likelihood of a working cocker coming in might be slim unsure.gif

That number would be great if you can find it biggrin.gif These guys are happy to wait for the right dog to come around smile.gif

ooh I might know of one. Someone I kind of know (photography client) has kept 4 puppies from one litter (don't ask) and she is looking to rehome some of them.... I'll email her and find out more ... she's looking for perfect busy homes..
