Just popping in to introduce myself as I have been browsing this forum for months now in preparation for getting our own Springer and now the time has come!

I am Trace, married to Mark, we have 3 children aged almost 15, 6 and almost 4. We have had dogs in the past, Before Children I had 2 Springers who in turn provided 6 pups quite unexpectedly (we had no idea the dog was old enough to mate!!)who all happily went off to new homes. When those dogs passed on, we were up to our eyes in children so had a break.

Middle daughter is dog MAD and we have just been fostering a Rotti pup for 3 months, we all became very very attached to her but she has gone back to her owner now and there is a dog shaped hole in our lives!

We would ideally like a puppy, but think we could be slightly flexible on that. We definitely have an active and happy home for a dog to come into and are all geared up for one now. We are even amenable to fostering a dog as I have done this in the past for our local animal rescue (HARA - sadly now closed down).

We live on the Lincolnshire coast but are willing to travel to find the right dog for us!
