my sister has a black lab - Megan who is about three - she has been spayed!

about a month ago she got two kittens. She introduced them to Megan and she is fine - they play together - no problems at all.

The kittens are now 15 weeks old so not ikkle little or anything

yesterday she came in to find the kitten suckling on Megans teets

she pushed the kitten off but today has found the same kitten doing it again


what is the best course of action? will/can Megan produce milk even though she has been spayed????

Just leave them be, you don't need to do anything - when Megan decides she's had enough of kitty's baby behaviour she will soon let her know!

Kittens, and some cats, like to suckle, I know of cats that will suck on jumpers and sleeves and things, so I guess, with Megan's teats being the right shape and all, kittie's just found the best substitute!
