Thanks peeps, have been back to visit him this evening, got a bigger tail wag from him this time but he's still very subdued, my springer has lost his spring

. Back on a drip too I'm afraid as he hasn't eaten anything other than what they've managed to get into him by syringe, well, I say that, the little booger managed to eat all his James Wellbeloved dehydrated liver treats that I took him

.
They said we could take him for a little walk down the street and the nurse came in to disconnect his drip, in the end we told her not to bother as it was causing Rafi more distress her messing around trying to A: cut through the tape that had strategically been placed over the line to hold everything in place (including the connector) and B: disconnect the line as she didn't know whether it screwed in right or left handed.
I would have said it's been a comedy of errors, however it is rapidly building into a catalogue of errors instead. All I want is my pup home and yet he has to stay another night in a practice (right effing word, maybe once they've finished practising they'll get on and do the jobs properly) that I'm rapidly losing confidence in.
Night night Raf's, sleep well fella xx
