prayed that your dog was naughty? Seem like a daft question? Well I was praying yesterday that Conker was naughty..which isn't a tall order to be honest but it seems that he chose that exact point for his 2.5 years of training to take effect

My mums neighbour was waiting at the top of his drive when I returned from walking Conker yesterday with his wife and grandson. He asked me if Conker was a cocker and I said yes. He said he had just ordered a cocker pup sired by the 2007 championship winner Timsgarry Barlow....

This wouldn't normally worry me too much but they already have a lurcher that lives outside in a kennel and only gets 2 10 minute walks round the park a day and the rest of the time it sits in its kennel.

I was hoping Conker would be pulling on the lead to get to them, nearly chking himself and portraying cockers as a bit of a handful, as he usually is but no...he sat down, paid them no attention and never took his eyes off me.....

I kept saying over and over that cockers need a lot of attention and exercise and a pup sired by a dog with the working drive of Barlow would be a handful.

I hope to god it all goes well for them but Im not sure this is going to end well...

Trust Conker Hopefully it won't all in tears.
