Happy Gotcha Day Precious Lily!!

I will never forget the day I picked you up to take you to Jackies, so quiet, scared and unsure.

It was a real priviledge to see you again looking so healthy, happy and loved. The look of love in your eyes for your mum was the best feeling ever, knowing you were where you belonged!

I hope to see you again soon special girlie!

Thanks everyone I still cant belive its been a year since she came. I put a thread on pets ireland to let everyone know how she has come on, its amazing with the amount of dogs they help there that they still remember her but they do I had a few blubs today reading what people have said.

Gilly I know just how much you know what we've been through as you have been through the same with lovely Molly, but its so worth it isn't it. Izzie I had completely forgotten that you did the transport that day to Jackies, thank you. And to everyone else who has known Lily's story......................we still have a way to go but I know without a shadow of a doubt that we'll get there, and if we dont............................so what, I wouldn't change her for the world. She is my very special precious Lily who right at this moment is chasing round the house like some bliddy lunatic holding a new frissbee and trying catch Jenny Dont know about precious Lily more like bloomin loony Lily

I'm crying again Karen.

You have got the best ever girl there. We still are amazed how she survived and reared her family on a small piece of land between the busy M1 and the main Dublin to Belfast railway line. She is some doll.



And we never forget the very special ones especially the girls that have struggled to rear babies in terrible circumstances.

I missed this earlier happy gotcha day even though its late

no words, just a beautiful dog living a wonderful life with a fabulous family
