Hi

Could anyone point me in the right direction for a groomer in the Rochdale area (Lancashire/West Yorkshire border)?

We know of a groomer in Rochdale who we previously used for our mini schnauzer but when talking to her about springers she said she just clips all over!

Although Louis is a family pet we want him to be kept quite short (mud magnet) but to still retain the springer outline not just a short back and sides all over.

What should I be asking for and what should they be doing/offering.

Help - as you can tell we have never had a springer before.

Would actually like to do him myself but have never done this before and without someone showing me what to do/ what to use he would end up looking a mess.

If you are desparate, I have a friend who grooms in Galgate, just outside of Lancaster. She has spins so knows about stripping etc. She tidied up Pippa and Teal for Crufts.
