Today is my wonderful Maddies 6th Anniversary.
What a great day it was for both of us, and still is. I am more in love with her than ever!
To think, when we went and found her at the rescue centre, someone else had seen her and was going away to think about it. There and then I wanted her, so we phoned for a home visit straight away and she was reserved for me. We had the home check at 11am the next morning and picked her up at 12noon. Strangly enough, I bumped into the woman at the Heights and she asked me if Maddie was Jasmine (her previous name). I said yes she was. She told me that as the rescue place was asking so much for her they would rather get ' a new one'!! I didn't know what to say, as you can imagine. All I can say is for a 'secondhand' dog, I was the lucky one to meet my best friend and soulmate, whose always up for a cuddle and lots of love.
