I know i have seen it somewhere on here before but i can't find it!

Is it ok to give dogs human glucosamine and in what dosage? do i ground it up and sprinkle onto food or is just a drop down the throat job?

I have just started giving my two Glucosamine. I have got some Dog capsules called Flex-A-Joint from a web site called Zip Vit, but i think its all the same stuff. The packet says that each capsule has 400mg of Glucosamine in and they have two a day for a medium dog so 800mg per day. These ones also have other things in for joints. You can also split them and put them in food if you want.
