Frizzle arrived from an Irish rescue last week. She was thrown from a speeding van in June and had a miraculous escape. A passing motorist saw it happen and stopped to pick up the poor girl. The impact on the tarmac took off a whole piece of Frizzles flesh along her left side.

The hair may never grow back completely but she has been clipped to remove masses of mud and matted hair so, gradually, her lovely curls will help to hide the scar. Her new coat is looking really glossy.
Frizzle is thought to be an Irish Water Spaniel X Springer Spaniel. approx 3-4 years old she is the size of a medium Springer. Vaxed and neutered she is now looking for her forever home. An easy going, quiet, house-trained girl, she will make a wonderful companion. Lives happily on her own or with other dogs.
Being a little overweight at the moment Frizzle will benefit from a steady increase in exercise. She is strong on the lead for the first half mile but settles after that. Great off the lead and although doesn't always respond immediately she will come back.
She is an escapologist however and will need a secure garden to stop her from taking herself off for a wander.

Also being part IWS she does love water!

If you would like to offer Frizzle a loving home with plenty of exercise please call Jackie or Roger on 01844 201271 or 07887928931. She is currently being fostered with us. Oxon/Bucks border.
A home check and a donation to help with costs will be required please.
