We have four springer spaniel boys that are waiting to come into rescue and we are full so need help with foster homes.

Details are as follows (we don't have pictures yet - we will sort these when the boys come in)

7 month old L & W entire boy. His owners are re-homing him as they had never had a springer before and didn't appreciate the needs of the breed. He is currently in Tyne and Wear Update: Foster space is now arranged for this boy

3 year old castrated B & W boy. The family have a new baby and have no time for the dog. Currently in Northumberland Update: Foster space is now arranged for this boy

For the two boys above, we ideally need a foster home within an hour of Northumberland so that we can provide back up support quickly, should it be needed.

4 year old B & W show type boy. Entire. His owner has had an accident.

3 year old L & W boy. Entire. He is timid. His family have had a change in circumstances and can no longer look after him.

For the two boys above, we are seeking foster homes within 1 hour of Wakefield, again so we can provide back up support.

We do require that our foster homes undergo a home check. NESSR covers food and Vet bills whilst dogs are in foster care and we provide full back up support.

The 4 year old Show boy is sorted, however if anyone can help me out with the 3yr old dog i would be grateful as we need to take in a 6 month old bitch tonight

Liz, can he be fostered where there are other dogs?

I'm kind of topsy turvy at home at the moment but if you do need some help I'd be glad to (on a foster basis only lol I def don't want or need another permanently! )... I work from home so the fella wouldn't be left on his own or with the muppets...

Just a thought, or if you need help with transport, let me know..

OH's arm is up his back but no joy yet. Can probably help with any short term, couple of day type stops if that helps at all, but we do work during the week so can't do much else.
