I'm sure that this must have been asked before, but as a Forum newbie I have to ask (can't have searched on the right thing). Why does a Springer forum have a background of an American Cocker??

It's a show springer

I think it is meant to be a show springer but I must admit I did think it looked more like the American Cocker myself

Ok, you guys got me thinking, so here is a comparison.

On the left is the ESS BoB from Westminster 2008 (well it could have been an American English Springer)

In the middle is American Cocker Group 3 from Manchester 2008

On the right is ESS Group 1 from Blackpool and Group 4 from Windsor 2008.



I still say it is an American - it is the rear end that gives it away, angulation and coat:)
