I'm considering starting to make some scarves etc. to sell in aid of rescue. I don't yet know how good I am at making them (!!!) or how much they will cost, but just wanted to see if there would be any interest. Pics of similar styles are below. I could make to order in any colour, and the patterned bits are made from remnants, so each scarf would be unique. I should be in a position to start making by the end of October, so in plenty of time for Christmas. If you think this might be something you would like can you let me know, and if you have any thoughts about how much you would pay for something like that.

Hmm..tis my mum's sixtieth in a month, do you think you'd be able to do one for her? Think she'd love a personalised hand made thing, especially if the money's going to rescue smile.gif

I think they are fabulous and your idea is just brilliant (as well as very thoughtful! wink.gif ) WTG murphy'smum!

Very "designer" look too, well done count me in for one.

I shall look in my "scrap" bag, I use a lot of "designer" cottons making the cavalier harnesses and always have loads of funny shaped off cuts which I never throw out (me being a tight fisted Scot!! laugh.gif ), they are yours if you can use them? biggrin.gif Just pm your address and I will send them off tomorrow.

Assuming I actually turn out to being any good at making them, that shouldn't be a problem. I might even be able to bring one along to the Derbyshire walk!
