Well they got back at about 3pm. It was only a short day today - 3 drives and 50 birds (partridge only).
Steve managed to get a couple of photos before they started.
The first drive was pretty bleak over a fairly barren field, they helped push the birds forward into a cover crop where the beaters put them up.
The second drive was from a small wood where Deefa flushed plenty of pheasants, although they weren't the target of the day.
On the third drive, Deefa worked a hedgeline and pushed the partridges back up towards the beaters. They finished on two grass fields where Deefa helped pick up the missed birds.
They're both now pretty exhausted and Steve has been deburring Deefa, although she does like to help where she can
