Dog Tags

Millie and Lucy usually have the dogtags from PAH. But they don't seem to last long. On Monday I saw some brass ones (other types available) at my local independent pet shop.

I ordered 2 identical medium, round brass tags to be engraved both sides - each costing less than £5. Ordered and paid for them in the shop, they faxed the order through and I got them through the post today - impressed.

I am very pleased with them. They are strong, the hole is not too near the top and the text is easy to read. Beats PAH on all counts - price, strength, double sided, durability (PAH ones wear the hole and the text gets rubbed).

I have been able to cut down to one good quality round tag plus Freya's Neutered/Tattooed tag.

Just had to get a PAH one for Broc as I needed it ASAP but will order them each one of those they look good. Thanks for that tip.

Sorry - not sure how to do a linkey thing.

But they're resin coated so it never gets rubbed off which I found as we had 2 tags, normally engraved ones got rubbed off very quickly.

They do look very classy whilst still practical. Never seen any like that before.

Coincidence! I got two tags from identitag this week as well - ordered Tuersday night, arrived Thursday morning. I used to get them from Tony the Tag Man, but they were wearing flat and illegible really quickly because they rub on their Medalert tags, but these brass ones look a lot more durable for only £1 more.

Poppys last tag came from ebay...looked great at first but is now looking a bit battered and bruised

Hiya I got my tags done for bobbin before he went and the two shepherds from a company called Animal treasures website is www.animaltreasures.co.uk. they are a little pricey but upside is they have your breeds head on one side which is really nice and its resinned so the lettering doesnt come off and you can have any colour lettering you want

Must put the boys new 'England' tags on today for the start of the footie. All those blokeys staying in to watch footie on a fab day like today. It is amazing in Cornwall today. At least the beach will be quiet. Having late breakfast at the beach with my daughter today

Another vote of confidence for Identitag from us - have been using them for Tilly and they are very good quality; make the others I've used look a bit weedy in comparison - and the split rings must be really strong because she hasn't managed to lose them in the brambles like she normally would.

Just got Spec a new tag from here as OH clipped the lead to her pets at home tag and not the collar ..... and low and hehold it broke off!!

I must say very impressed with the quality and speed of delivery. Think I will order one fro Brockly Pants now I have seen specs.
