Dexter was 1 on friday the 12 and on sat the 13 he became a dad, no you have not read this wrong i too am still in shock considering i had him done a few weeks ago. You could say he left me a little present, i now have a beautiful black and white sringador. Ellie my yellow 8 year old lab who is a big girl anyway due to a phantom preg when she was 2 (gained weight and saggy boobs) gave no clue that she was pregnant at all.
Last week she looked a bit bigger and her boobs were swollen so while at the vet having murphys staples out from the big fight last week i asked for something for ellie as i saw some milk in one boob. Isaid she was having a phantom pregnancy again and that although not upset in anyway needed the milk gone as not fair on her. I gave her one dose in her evening meal which now in hindsight she threw up. She barked at 1 and 4 am so i went down to her where she went out for a wee then trotted in (never does that during the night) anyway my hubby had to work saturday so I was up at 5am, next i heard ,pauline you had better get up ellies had a puppy i shot down like a women possessed and there it was a little girl!
She went on to have two little boys 1 lived for the day, the other boy was stillborn along with its sister.

but ellie and her daughter are doing very well so she at least has something to show for her hard work, it took all day Saturday and Sunday. Dexter certainly shocked us as he must have been only 10 months when he got it together with ellie(night time or while i was at work) he was 11 months when done . I am posting some photos of the new addition hope you like?
As you can see from the pics Murphey and Dexter seem to have forgotton about last weeks fight!
