A great walk plenty for the dogs to sniff and just anough mud but not to much
met some old friends and made some new one's
said hello to allys aunty and uncle nice to meet you and will see you in september
hope you got home ok
hello to angel and mum nice talking to you and your family' sorry about the chip snaffling biggrin.gif
checking photo's now will post later

It was the chip snaffling that made the day absolutely perfect laugh.gif It was great to meet you Helen, John, harvey, jess and bubbles (hope you can find some use for the wonder walker)

Angel never really seems to rest that much , she had a sleep for about 10mins when silly me decided i should put my walking shoes away and she was up tail wagging and wanting to go again!

Im terrible remembering names so hi to everyone else i chatted to. Still not convinced that the 2 really clean dogs (The Persil Boys?) came on the same walk as the rest of them laugh.gif (sorry I can't remember the ladies name who owns them)

Im also not entirely convinced that Alfie is a real baby - vic are you sure you just didn't get him as christmas present? laugh.gif

Hope to see you all again soon

Sam and Angel

Really great to see everyone..

some apologies...mainly to GillyB!! Sorry for the over crowded golf course and your poor arms! Sorry to Justyn about the accidental steep hill, and sorry to Molly (I think) for the very grumpy Charlie, one minute you're pottering around being very well mannered and eating crisps, next you're shouted at by some spotty oik dog sad.gif He's claiming it's because he was tired, but I think he's just an oik and needs to get a grip.

No apologies for the mud laugh.gif

And Fudds, did your gleaming dogs do the same walk as us? laugh.gif laugh.gif

We've collected a nice big envelope to hand over to Freya, I'll count it when Alf's in bed.

Had a really nice time in the pub, good to find a very easy dog friendly garden, might become locals smile.gif

Had a great time - boys and Louise fast asleep all the way home, so had nice quiet drive!
It was an ideal springer walk - just enough mud to please the doggies, but not enough to put off the hoomans!

Thanks for organising, Vic and hope to see everyone again soon.

was very gutted not to have made it...but just thought it would be too much for Badger on his first day....plus he pulls my arm off, so wouldn't hav ebeen able to stop and chat laugh.gif but at least this gives a good excuse to arrange another one...right ?? huh.gif

polly- 08-04-2008
definitely!

So where are the badger pics then Danni? Oh and there are leads that can help with Badger's pulling, whilst you persevere with the heal work wink.gif

well my two get on well with a 'gentle leader' but there is another design that i can't remember the name of, that does up at the back of the neck (someone was using it yesterday) which looked very good - basically the leads have a sort of nose loop, that discourages the dog from pulling, without hurting them, or restricting their mouths unduly... now, my two do hide if i get the lead out, but once on, they forget about them, and it does mean my arms stay in the sockets, and i'm not pulled down the road on my bum biggrin.gif

that's my OH... he was in his element, we took 8 tennis balls - think we brought a couple of rather soggy, yucky ones home again!

smile.gif smile.gif Thanks to everyone for a lovely day, especially to Vic for planning it. Enjoyed the video. Looking forward to more walks and hopefully meeting Badger. By the way Danni, the head-collars for pully dogs are called a Halti. They do the job, but are not too popular with the wearer at first! sad.gif sad.gif
