went to the fish and chip shop last night and there was a sign or fish bits - free for your cat!! so i got a bag full - it is full of off cuts of cod and maybe haddock - is this ok to give to Ruby?

i said if a cat can have them then of course they will be fine or Rubes but Darren was muttering on about sharp fish bones so i said i would ask!!

so some quick replies will mean Ruby can have a fishy lunch today

Some dogs are sick on raw fish, but I just cook it in the microwave for a minute or two (minus the bones of course) and they are fine with it.

They can cope with the small bones Claire as these are very soft, just watch out for the large sharp pin bones It won't hurt if you do what fifer does, that way you can be sure you get the bones out, just flake the meat off and check for any bones as these will be sharp due to being cooked, there will still be plenty of goodness in the fish for Ruby
