Hope you don't mind me posting these pictures as they are all Clumbers and not a springie thing in site.

I was at the CLA show this weekend and boy was it hot.

Loads of people dragging their dogs around the show when I feel the dogs would have been far better off left at home, it was just to hot for poor things.

Great show, loads of people (130,000 over the 3 days) and just so much to see.

One of my highlights is always the Working Clumber Spaniel Soc. (http://www.workingclumber.co.uk/) display and it did not dissappoint.

Here's some images of the display

Aww Steve, fab photo's, I was there on Saturday and agree that it was far too hot for dogs that didn't 'need' to be there.

I tried to get near the Clumbers in the Pavillion but everyone else seemed to have the same idea !!!

I have never been to the CLA Game Fair before and was ohmy.gif blink.gif wacko.gif blink.gif ohmy.gif .
I managed to see about 10% of it I reckon before calamity struck <blush>

I was watching the Gundog Scramble perfectly ok one minute, the next thing I knew I was flat on my back and a nice lady was throwing water over me - completely passed out sad.gif still, it was lateish in the day and I was almost ready to head home anyway...... ho-hum, will remember to take a water spray another time.

Saw Sue with Mugi and Chase - Chase was adorable and for the first time ever didn't try and bite me, and Mugi was an absolute trooper and took part in the HPR parade complete with his wet blankie wub.gif to keep him cool.

Already planning to go next year and will try and go for two days if possible so I can take it all in.

They are certainly lovely looking dogs. Compared to Springers, what is their temperament like?

I'm probably mistaken, but they look less scatty unsure.gif

More deliberate than a springer. Will quite often think long and hard about obeying a command.

Don't be fooled into thinking they are slow though. They are definitely fast enough to keep just out of range whilst still laughing at your attempts to catch them biggrin.gif

Can be a little obstinate but are faithful companions and just so full character.
