Charlie is a complete sweetie, he has been handed into rescue by his owner where he has been in two homes (within the same family) since a pup, due to his owners health issues she is now unable to exercise him and feels he needs to find a new family who can offer him more.

Charlie had been living alongside a 16yr old bitch and is currently in foster with a young male dog. He is used to children from a very young age but can be a little shy on first meetings. He is neutered and will be brought up to date with his vacc. before being homed. Charlie is housetrained and OK to be left for short periods.

Charlie is in foster in Boston, Lincs. For more information please call Sally on 01472 388577 / 07984 033144 or Jackie on 01844 201271 07887 928931.

A homecheck and donation to help towards costs will be required.

Charlie is a really special boy. He was a little wary of Murphy to start with, but has quickly come out of his shell. IMO, he would really benefit from a home where he gets regular canine company. He likes nothing more than a good cuddle and has a really cute habit of waving his paw at you when he wants fuss! He does pull on a lead, and has shocking recall. He doesn't seem to really know his name sad.gif . I'm pretty sure all of those can be fixed with a little hard work and patience. smile.gif

Could Charlie cope with being left for up to 4 hrs at a stretch? I work full time but I come home to my 10yr old Springer every day at lunchtime. huh.gif

Sadly Charlies owners were not a 100% truthful when handing him over, after Katie has spoken to his previous vets it is app. that Charlie turned 9 on the 1st of this month. This in no way would of worried us as a rescue just annoying for Charlies sake, the most accurate history known on a dog, the more suitable the home can be found.

I am sorry Charlie (& Katie & Sally) - if only people would be honest it would save a lot of time and emotion! Katie - kleenex not needed just yet then ....... unsure.gif Perhaps we will meet another time huh.gif
