I just wondered if it was possible to have a bit for favourite walks with the topic headings being counties ie.. Peak / Lake District, Sussex etc etc.
Thought it might be nice, especially if people are travelling to other bits of the country smile.gif

(got the idea after looking at sally and yoyo's mum's lovely pics of bradgate park)

Maybe we could attach a link to a small map and pictures etc like they do on some of the forums on walking wink.gif

Now thats a fantastic idea smile.gif Please can people post wheres good for camping with 3 spagnols as well because I am trawling the internet (without much luck) for somewhere that is very quiet with no sheep laugh.gif

I used to camp at a place called Glen Doll in Scotland although it is more of a field with a toilet in it (no showers last time I was there) and you wash in the burn. Farmer charged £5 per night.

Only one single track road in and out of Glen Doll and surrounded by fantastic walks. There are sheep up on the hills but usually too far away.

It is a favourite place for walkers and there is also a youth hostel there. But it is very popular in the height of the summer because of its seclusion.
