Calling all West Country STers. Am hoping to get Triumph to Bristol, so if anyone wants to walk the little scamp, please let me know, maybe we can arrange a get together somewhere near by. If not, I am sure Bailey and Tess will make him most welcome!

We live in Nailsworth, so depending on when you were thinking of.......
Happy to receive ideas on Walkies venues!? We just got a very nice Ordnance Survey map, so will have to take a gander!
We are in North Bristol (Filton) - so count us in - we like the Arboretum at Westonbirt for walking but it costs an arm and a leg to get in!
Not really good on suggestions - sorry - we go to Blaise Castle quite a bit and have been meaning to explore Ashton Court but haven't got that far yet so don't know if it's any good.
Happy to go anywhere really - as long as there are springies we will be happy!!!
Balise Castle or Ashton Court would be great, in fact both are brilliant venues! We have been meaning to try the Arboretum, but the price has put us off (at least, OH refuses to pay that much to walk the dog!), but we will have to give it a go one day.
Once I get confirmation of Triumph's arrival date we will have to make a decision, in the mean time, if any other Springer owners are in the area, lets see if we can get a crowd together!

Only just spotted this - we're in Bath so not far away. Would be interested - though I'm not very good at driving in Bristol! Haven't been to Blaise Castle or Ashton Court but have had some nice walks at Westonbirt. Or Mendips?
Hi Baggins, Mendips might be good if someone has an idea of a good route and I would love to try Westonbirt, but it's expensive isn't it? If we end up at Ashton Court or Blaise Castle I will do directions, or PM you our address or a good meet-up spot and you can follow on.
If Triumph doesn't make it, I am sure we can do the walk anyway! I'd love to meet some other ST'ers and get some good pics on here!

p.s. keep spreading the word, and I am hoping to get a date in July.
Cant do the first weekend as I am on pack holiday. Not sure about the Mendips as really dont know them. Ashton Court sounds quite good. OH says Blaise castle is nice.
We can't do the first weekend in July either - but the rest of July looks good so far. Roly is looking forward to meeting some new furry friends!!!
Had an email from Ally's aunt, she's very happy to post Triumph on after the SYESSR bbq. Not sure if Freya wants to keep collecting? But I'm sure whoever organises can paypal the money onto SYESSR? Anyone know?
Not a clue, but I am happy to donate/send/paypal any money to any rescue as long as you lot are happy, and if we can get Triumph for sometime in Mid-late July then I think we will be trying to organise Blaise Castle. I will PM all those that were intere-*test*-('")ed and let them have the directions, details of times etc.

Vic, did you get my address OK? Let me know if you need me to send/pm anything.

Triumph is on his way to Bristol, so if all you West Country ST'ers are up for a meet, we are hoping to get to Blaise Castle in Mid-July, let me know if everyone is happy with that and can make it.

(I thought I was in the Ally Rally bit...sorry!)
Where should I go?
BTW!!! As luck would have it, I just got home from work to do my lunch time dog watch, and the postman arrived!
Triumph is here, he's had some water, a little bit of Bailey's food, and is having a nap after his journey!
