Most of you have seen my pics of bradgate park, but it is def my fave dog walk in our area.
It is in the little village of Newtown Linford and spreads for miles and miles across Leicestershire. You could literally walk there for hours!! It costs £2 parking, and once you enter the park there are various different routes. We tend to take the Bridal path to the left, as once you get near the top, there are fields and fields of huge bracken piles, just perfect for springers

In the midst of all these bracken mounds are marshy pits, which the dogs also love. A river runs through the park and on nice days you can see the whole of Leicestershire from the top, where Old John stands.
The park gets very popular, but is so big that you can walk for ages without seeing another soul
There are no rules for dogs, except obviously to pick up after them, so they can run free and really enjoy themselves.
It is dog haven, I really really recommend it
