Are beef ribs alright to give a Springer? I got some free from my butchers and Buddy wasn't that interested and i was wondering if they're too hard for him.

mine have beef ribs very very occasionally. They can manage them fine but I do find they have an effect the other end if given too much off or too often

edited to say with Holley I will often heat up a little oil and just flash fry the outside of any thing that I give her as she is just not interested otherwise.

I don't give beef ribs at all. I throw them away if the butcher gives them to me, they are toooo hard IMO.

Thanks everyone, there wasn't much meat on them at all and i ended up taking it off him although Shanie did eat all of hers and hers were a little more meaty. I might just give him them to chew on in the future-not to eat though

mine love them. I got a load the other week and they have got through them. Im still doing trial and error though
