welll... had the gamekeeper stand with me let me use one of his guns, and hey....

3rd shot i killed my first (and only!) pheasant of the day!! was a clean shot, the bird was dead in the air, and of course as g/k was with me there was not a chance of me hitting anything too low - dont get me wrong it wasnt really high but was a great feeling

all shots after that on the drive were just ahead or just behind, i was stopping swinging when pulling trigger, then other drives too far away (and g.k wasnt with me another guy was - not quite as helpful..but still a good day had by all

quite sad really coz its the end of the road for me there, with the plan of moving and all, but i have been told i have to come back and beat occasionally, someone will put me up for the night coz i aint driving 3 hours each way in one day!
