Bart's was going to be put to sleep this weekend.

Thanks to a bit of teamwork with a local general rescue, Bart is now in foster with The Spaniel Trust smile.gif.

Bart is a tremendous, handsome, busy dog - just like a working cocker should be. Well-mannered in the home, he has a tremendous nose outside and is very ball-orientated smile.gif. He's just 5 years old and will be looking for an active home, to offer him mental & physical stimulation that he would thrive on.

An initial assessment shows him to be dog and cat friendly. He likes the company of other dogs, but is not 'in their face' so to speak. He loves playing with my 12 year old daughter (and with my 2 year old cavalier wink.gif), but we would be looking for a home with older children only.

Here are a few piccies of the lovely lad:

hmmmmm, methinks a tennis ball flinger-thingy would suffice, fifer biggrin.gif . No Russian shotputters needed wink.gif.

Bart doesn't give up either - he tenatiously found his ball after about 15 mins searching at one point. rolleyes.gif .

laugh.gif laugh.gif ummmm, nope, Mr CS would kill me laugh.gif
Plus, we banned balls when we moved house to get away from Willow and her ball obsession accompanied by lots of barking, so no balls in the CS house biggrin.gif

He's cracking! Living with a ball obsessed dog is easy, if you can be strong enough to hide ALL the balls when you feel he needs to rest.......
