i am new to this site so need some advice, we got taz 4 wks ago and have just got him settled at night but dare not go down to the kitchen at night as he will bark constantly if i leave him, but the main problem is that in the day when iam up stairs cleaning or in the other room and i put him in the kitchen(he attacks the mope and broom) he will bark constantly until i go back to him i leave the radio on and my other dog with him, if i do not go back to him he wee's on the floor for attention, ( he barks for attention when he wants feeding or his not allowed to do some thing)i have been working on leaving the room for short periods help please

Have you tried leaving him with a stuffed kong? Or something to do, rather than just thinking about how he can get you back. Only, leave him for about 20 secs to start off with, go out of sight then come back, reward if he was quiet and build it up.

Also i wouldn't make a fuss of him when you come back, infact i would totally ignore him because what he wants is you to come back to him, so if you are boring to him when you come back he is less likely to want you back so much. Of course if he was quiet for a short amount of time go back and reward him with treat or food, if he was loud just keep ignoring.

im no expert but what about putting his crate in the kitchen with the kong and toys etc

How old is he ?
