A National Trust park just outside Shrewsbury. Excellent for dog walkers as the park is geared up for them in particular Poop bag stations and bins, areas to let the dogs off, areas to keep them on their leads. Wheelchair friendly
There are deer in the park (on lead area), the House, tea rooms, shop, plant shop, nature area for children, an orchard with ancient types of apple trees etc. Excellent this time of year (end Oct to April) cos during the week although the tea rooms etc are not open the walks are and its free! Within the season you do have to pay NT rates but well worth it
