Hi

My mum lives in Holbeach, her vet is miles away and she doesn't drive, she normally gets a lift or a cab. All she needs is her dogs claws clipped but doesn't want to do it herself and can't wait until I come across.

Does anyone know of a mobile groomer who could just clip the dogs claws for her please - any help would be appreciated - thanks

edited to say...i emailed a friend in the area but she wasnt as helpful as i thought she would be, unfortunately she has had a bad accident and is unable to drive for a long while or i am sure she would have done it if passing.

hi there is a mobie grooming/doggy wash van that drives around and washes your dog for you in small purpose built trailer , they also trim the dogs nails while doing the wash but whether thay would come out just for trim i dont know tell her to try yellow pages or ring her vet or pet food supplier they usually know who does what with animals in their area.

Many thanks for trying - I'll tell her to ring the vets but she has a bee in her bonnet about the vets - she seems to think once you are registered with a vet no one else can deal with the dog!!!! She thinks its like going to the doctors for a human - still if it keeps her happy.

I'm in Spalding Don't know of any groomers but willing to pop round and do them for Mum.

Or if she isn't happy with that I can play driver and take said dog to vets .... (so long as she doesn't mins a nosey 2 year old in tow too....)
