Has anybody ever successfully managed to stop their Springer squeaking?
Holly does it while sitting in the car, or while I'm not paying her attention, if she's excited for her ball, or basically in any situation!
It seriously does my head in, and would love to train her out of it, but I'm not sure how to, if it's even possible!
Not one to do in the car but when at home if she starts squeaking, don't make eye contact, don't say anything but either leave the room or just turn your back on her, the important thing is you must make sure all family members do the same. As soon as she stops the noise quietly praise or stroke her - if she starts the squeaking again stop.
Even you telling her to "shut up" is giving her attention so you have to withdraw what she wants which is you! It may take some time, but she should get there!
Good luck
