I want to add a personal photo to my controls but it tells me the board administrator has not given me permission to do that. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting the permission to do this?

The permissions you don't have are probably something to do with the size of the picture you are trying to put into your signature.

I know what it is, you dont use the personal picture option, its your avatar you are trying to set, if you go to avatar that will give you the image beside your posts, the personal picture is not relevant for this site

Unfortunately it won't let me set the avatar either. I'll try again with different size photos, thanks for help

Well done Most forums have problems when you present them with an avatar that isn't the right size, some of them manage to resize it but others don't.

Now all you need to do is your signature
