yesterday afternoon, in a place i regulary walk the dogs, a 2-3 year old shepherd cross was left tied to a boulder, with a note asking to find me a home , as my mum has health problems and can no longer care for me, , today i go to my pet feed warehouse, on the notice board are several free to good homes notices, up untill a fortnight ago these notices were unheard of in my neighborhood, a couple of them stated unable to afford to pay for there keep, thats so sad, but it seems to be becoming the norm

Its not surprising when the cost of living is rising all the time, although i am not saying that its right to just abandon them anywhere.
It is very sad at the same time both for the animal and the owner.
The poor dog must have been very scared, i hope it finds a lovely new home soon.
