Hello
I'm new to the forum, came across this site whilst searching for springers/cockers that need rehoming, after reading most of the posts on here, I thought I really must offer my help to you all, in the form of fostering/adoption or transport.
You all do such a great job and Im sure all your good deeds will be rewarded one day.

A little about me? I live with my other half in a village North of Northampton I am a Canine Hydrotherapist (which I absolutely love) and I also teach animal related courses at my local agricultural college in northampton.
I am so lucky that I can take my dog (when i get one) to work with me for swims or for fuss from the students!

My OH has been brought up with working springers and I have been brought up with working labs, when we discussed rehoming we both said we wanted to try and rehome a breed that we were familar with so here we are!

There you go - probably bored you enough now! smile.gif

Just wanted to say hello and offer our help.

Lou

OOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhh I have some news!!!! biggrin.gif

We put our names down on the NWESSR rehoming list on thursday (last week), we had our home check on sunday and several phone calls later we are going to be the proud owners of a 12month old, liver and white little springer boy - collecting him MONDAY!!!

We're so excited - although still a little shocked at how quickly it's happened, but I'm a great believer in fate and it was his profile that made me register with them! I thought he'd have been snapped up by the time our application was read - but now he's coming to live with us! smile.gif

I'll post some pictures as soon as I can biggrin.gif

Well here he is....... Jack !
A 17 month old little boy - who we've only had since monday 21st july and my word has he settled in well!
We got him through the NWESSR (who were very helpful). I read the write up about this little chap two weeks ago - applied to the NWESSR on the thursday and 10 days later we were picking him up!
He is an absolute Poppet and can't remember what life was like before monday 21st !
