Came home with Trixie looking like this!


the 2 pronged burrs, she had them everwhere!
At one point I thought I was going to have to clip her right back as her bum feathers were so matted.

But a useful tip of soaking the matts in olive oil and water got her clean within 10 mins!

I managed to tease most of the one from her chest out with a comb, but her bum feathers were awful!

Just grateful for the advice I had from my mentor, who stayed online talking me through it!
