Thank you all so much for the generous cheque that arrived on Friday from Freya and Mary.
The money was raised from the Sprufts 2008 photo competition. The photos were all great and I'm glad I wasn't the judge! It must have been very hard choosing the winners.

Our little rescue which has never really had an official title will now be known as Bernwood Springer Rescue. It is named after a huge forest that once covered the area where we live.

At the moment we have 3 little Springers and 1 larger Springer X in our care, Fleck, Justin and Kiefer living with us and lovely little Mandie who is being kindly fostered by Mark and Sally.

Fleck is to have an operation to help with a small problem with his waterworks so the money will be very welcome. He had his manly parts totally removed for some reason and was left with a tiny hole to pass water.
Justin is an older steady boy, possibly Sprollie. He just wants a cuddle and to lay by the fire.
Kiefer is a total whirlwind and Mandie needs a lot of tlc to help her overcome her fear of people.
